Piston pumps TKE type
CONSTRUCTION:
Pumps of TKE type are double-piston, double-acting vertical pumps driven by a 50 Hz or 60 Hz electric alternating current motor. The electric drive is transmitted by an inseparable flexible coupling and gear-box.
The basic components:
- pump body with two water cylinder
- gear-box with intersecting axis gear
- valve-box with valve-system
- overflow device with safety-valve set on pressure which guarantee that ordered parameters are received.
PUMPED MEDIUM:
fresh water, sea water and oil of viscosity up to 5°E (36,2cSt).
Other liquids can be also pumped when agreed with manufacturer. The maximum temperature of the pumped medium is: 45°C (318 K).
APPLICATION:
In shipbuilding:
- bilge systems;
- ballast systems;
- fire-fighting systems.
The can be used on land as a residual pump with low pumped liquid level.
